About Pantex

Consolidated Nuclear Security, LLC (CNS) manages and operates the Pantex Plant in Amarillo, and Y-12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Pantex is one of six production facilities in the Department of Energy/National Nuclear Security Administration's Nuclear Security Enterprise. Pantex is an integral part of the nation's Nuclear Security Enterprise because it applies unique capabilities to ensure the effectiveness of the U.S. nuclear stockpile in support of the nation's nuclear deterrent. Pantex conducts nuclear explosive assembly and disassembly, special nuclear material testing and evaluations, and manufacturing and assessing explosives.

The Pantex plant, although primarily focused on critical national security missions, has cultivated a work environment that balances dedication to its mission with a culture that encourages growth, collaboration, and a sense of fulfillment among its employees.
