Chuck Edwards is the Regional Director of the Texas Tech Small Business Development Center (SBDC) in Lubbock. As a member of the AASBC he helps small businesses start and grow their companies. After completing his doctorate, he taught at TTU and launched a capstone program for graduating students at Penn State University before eventually returning to Lubbock to work in a family business.

As CEO of that company, it grew from 30 to 275 employees and enjoyed revenue increases of twenty-five-fold solidifying itself nationally as one of the fifteen largest contractors in its industry and a top five suppliers for the Southwest.

Additionally, he owned an employment services company and was a partner in a real estate developing company that revitalized distressed commercial properties.

As the current director of the SBDC, he feels his ability to work with all types of people, the experience he gained through periods of both significant and steady growth, and his personal desire to impact others affronts him the exceptional opportunity to assist other entrepreneurs and business leaders.
