Gilbert Valdez received his B.S. in Biology and Chemistry from Texas Tech University. He has ten years of experience as a credentialed Food and Drug Administration (FDA) inspector with over 100+ field inspections of medical device manufacturers, including repackagers/relabelers, contract manufacturers, contract sterilizers, and specification developers. He served sixteen years as an Environmental Specialist and Registered Sanitarian for the Texas Department of State Health Services conducting inspections of wholesale prescription drug/device manufacturers and distributors; wholesale over the counter drug/device manufacturers and distributors; salvage establishments and brokers; cosmetic manufacturers and distributors who are responsible for compliance with the Texas Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act; Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP); and FDA Quality System Regulations.
