We develop and provide novel drug delivery systems in form of dental devices and microneedles meeting the specific needs of targeted patient populations. Micronutrient coated dental floss and floss picks designed for the post-bariatric surgery patient. These patients, based upon the gastrointestinal augmentation, require vitamin supplementation in order to prevent the onset of disease ie. Wernicke's encephalopathy or death. Supplementation is required because the upper section of the gastrointestinal tract that was augmented in surgery is no longer able to able certain vitamins and micronutrients.
