Main teaching and creative focus: Dance technique, choreography, improvisation, critical theory, aesthetics & performance

Creative endeavors: Founder & Artistic Director of Flatlands Dance Theatre, Co-Artistic Director of the TTU Dance Company, Freelance choreographer, performer, and dance writer

Research interests: Methods of teaching choreography, sociopolitical implications of the performing body, critical theory, movement analysis

Awards: Kristina Larson Excellence in Choreography Award, Dance Critics Association Gary Parks Award, selection of original choreography for presentation at NC Dances & American College Dance Festival

Organizational Affiliations: Dance Critics Association (Elected National Board Member), Congress on Research in Dance, American College Dance Festival Association
