I've Registered for Orientation, What's Next?

Texas Tech has moved to a Hybrid Red Raider Orientation for Summer 2021. It is made up of 4 parts:

Online Orientation Modules 

  • These Online Orientation Modules will introduce you to resources and services provided by Texas Tech to you as a student. They are required before you can register

Advising & Class Registration

  • You will have the chance to meet with your academic advisor during your scheduled Orientation session. Our Academic Advisors are ready to help, so feel free to reach out if you have any questions prior to orientation! Link to talk@ttu.edu

Optional On-Campus Raiderland Experience

  • The Raiderland Experience offers the perfect opportunity to learn more about Texas Tech. Students who attend will have the chance to tour the campus, visit the residence halls, talk with campus representatives and hear what current Tech students are saying about life on campus. As an incoming Visual & Performing Arts student, you will have the chance to tour our facilities and meet other incoming and current students! 

Raider Welcome

  • Raider Welcome is a two-week long, campus-wide event happening on campus at the start of the Fall 2021 semester, from August 11-28, 2021. Learn more about Texas Tech and connect with other students, campus opportunities and more during over 150 fun events for students of all majors!

Am I Admitted to the TCVPA?

Most majors in the TCVPA require a separate application or admission to be considered. All degree programs, with the exception of the Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts, require an application to their program of interest through GetAcceptd.com. A performance audition may also be required with admission not guaranteed. Please contact the advisor based on your program of interest for more details.

Your advisor is your go-to contact as a student at Texas Tech. We have a dedicated academic advisor for each of our schools. You will meet with them during your RRO session, but feel free to reach out to them before then!
