Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.)

Students in the J.T. & Margaret Talkington College of Visual & Performing Arts (TCVPA) Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree plans immerse themselves in the creative process, refine their aesthetics, and hone their technical skills. B.F.A. degrees offer pre-professional degrees in art, dance, or theatre with concentrations in acting, art education, dance, graphic design, photography, transmedia, jewelry design, metalsmithing and more.

TCVPA B.F.A. students uncover different approaches to acting, music theatre, production, painting, printmaking, sculpture, design, theatrical management, directing, and so much more. Practice techniques developed during a B.F.A education sharpen students' instincts, focus their creativity, broadens their imagination, and provides tools to execute their expression.
