B.F.A. Concentration in Acting

The Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a concentration in Acting is a professional degree program designed to train the modern actor for a career in the entertainment industry.  The innovative curriculum in voice, speech, movement, and technique is integrated with practical experiences in a season of eight productions, as well as those offered by WildWind Performance Lab, The Marfa Intensive, and other training programs.

Our mission is to train the actor for a professional career in the entertainment industry. We believe that the modern actor must be capable of working effortlessly between film, television, and the theatre. Our faculty is comprised of artists and academicians who work professionally around the nation, as well as internationally, in all mediums. We are committed to sharing our knowledge and expertise with our students through rigorous, engaging classroom training and practical application as they prepare for professional careers within our industry.

Students interested in declaring for the BFA Acting program in the 2023-24 academic year must submit a pre-screen audition via RaiderConnect. Create your account there, then select APPLICATIONS and choose the College of Visual & Performing Arts Application at the bottom of the page. Questions about the application? Email talk@ttu.edu

This audition will serve as a scholarship audition for prospective students provided you submit your pre-screen audition by December 1st, 2022.
