The School of Theatre and Dance offers teaching and non-teaching Graduate Assistantships for MA, MFA, and PhD candidates in Theatre Arts. Stipends range for a nine-month term, depending on the student's program of study. Full-time assistantships carry an approximate stipend of $5,000 per semester and include an out-of-state tuition waiver. Scholarships from the School of Theatre and Dance are also available to both entering and enrolled graduate students.

Admission applications must be completed, and the student must first be accepted by the Office of Graduate Admissions before the School of Theatre and Dance can act on requests for fellowships and assistantships.
