High school students interested in pursuing a major or minor in theatre or dance are invited to experience our programs firsthand by observing and/or participating in classes, meeting faculty, and connecting with current students. 

Explore our state-of-the-art facilities, discover degree opportunities, and get a feel for life on the beautiful Texas Tech campus. Register today for SOTD College Day and take center stage in your future!

The Fall offers a unique opportunity:

College Day + Texas Tech Preview = the ultimate Texas Tech visit! 

Attend one or both events and mix and match activities to create your perfect Red Raider experience. Learn more about Texas Tech Preview. 

Please note: Texas Tech Preview requires a separate registration. If you attend Preview events, be sure to drop by the Charles E. Maedgen, Jr. Theatre and/or the Creative Movement Studio (CMS) check-in tables so we can meet you, answer your questions, and share information about our programs.

Parking

Register your vehicle ahead of time (link below) to park on campus for the event:

The attendants at the entry gate on Broadway can direct you to visitor parking.

For weekday visits to campus, please follow all posted parking signage. Specially marked spaces, including handicap spaces, are enforced 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Location

The Charles E. Maedgen, Jr. Theatre is located at 2812 18th Street, between Boston Ave. and Flint Ave.

The Creative Movement Studio (CMS) is on the corner of Akron Avenue and 8th Street/Glenna Goodacre Ave (1395 Akron Avenue).
