High school students interested in pursuing a major or minor in theatre or dance are invited to experience our programs firsthand by observing and/or participating in classes, meeting faculty, and connecting with current students.

WHAT TO BRING

Attire for Dance Technique Classes: If you plan to participate in our dance technique classes, please wear dance attire you can move in. We recommend bare feet or socks for contemporary, low-tread sneakers or socks for hip-hop, and tap shoes for tap technique classes. We recommend comfortable shoes to wear while walking on campus.

Design/Technology-Interested Students: Please bring a copy of your resume and be ready to share your online portfolios with design faculty if your intent is to interview for the BFA Design/Technology Program. The Design Area is also happy to provide you with advice on improving these materials, should you be at the beginning of your college search.

 

Parking

Register your vehicle ahead of time (link below) to park on campus for the event:

The attendants at the entry gate on Broadway can direct you to visitor parking.

For weekday visits to campus, please follow all posted parking signage. Specially marked spaces, including handicap spaces, are enforced 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The Creative Movement Studio (CMS) is on the corner of Akron Avenue and 8th Street/Glenna Goodacre Ave (1395 Akron Avenue).
