WildWind Summer Intensive
Texas Tech University School of Theatre & Dance is excited to host our first ever week-long Summer Dance Intensive, geared for high school students ages 14-18.
The Intensive provides students with the opportunity to train in dance at the collegiate and pre-professional level with TTU faculty and guest artists. Students will work on technique, performance quality, anatomical awareness and strength for those who wish to pursue dance at the collegiate level and beyond. Students will also gain insight into campus life and the School of Theatre & Dance at Texas Tech University.

Camp Highlights
WildWind Dance Intensive
June 8-13, 2026 | 9am-4pm
Cost: $25 Registration fee (includes lunch and camp t-shirt)
Each day will include various technique classes in ballet, contemporary, jazz, hip hop and wellness (yoga, Pilates), as well as improvisation and choreography as taught by Texas Tech dance faculty and other professional guests. There will be an informal performance on the last day of the intensive to which parents are invited.
Considering Texas Tech University for Fall 2027? Students can utilize the intensive as their Dance program audition at no additional cost.
