25/26 season Classics Reimagined

Love. Murder. Revenge. Repeat.

Our 2025/2026 theatre and dance season, “Classics Reimagined,” dives headfirst into the heart of human extremes—love and madness, vengeance and redemption, ritual and revolution—and promises to be a bloody good time!

We begin with Lizzie, a searing rock musical that reimagines the legend of Lizzie Borden with ferocious punk energy and a feminist edge. From there, we turn to the psychological depths of Shakespeare’s Hamlet, a timeless tale of betrayal, existential dread, and the unraveling of a mind at war with itself.

Fall Dance Festival ignites the stage with dynamic, original choreography from our senior dance students—raw, passionate, and unbound by convention. Then, we strip the theatre down to its most intimate core in the Festival of Monodramas, where eight MFA students command the spotlight with singular stories and unforgettable voices.

The shadows morph in a visceral, full-bodied explosion of movement and music with DanceTech: Rites of Spring, a new devised work based on Stravinsky’s landmark ballet that shocked the world with its raw, primal power.  Finally, the season culminates with Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Stephen Sondheim’s masterwork of macabre wit and soaring lyricism, where justice takes a bloody and unforgettable form.

Prepare to be thrilled, unsettled, and completely captivated.

This is not just a season. It’s a reckoning.
