Theatre Arts

Emphasizing the training of professional practitioners or professional teachers of the theatre practice, the Master of Fine Arts in Theatre Arts is a terminal professional degree that provides intensive concentration in arts administration, design, performance and pedagogy, or playwriting. A minimum of 60 hours is required beyond the baccalaureate. Completion of the MFA degree requires a written thesis or a thesis project.

The MFA program is a professional training program that provides rigorous instruction and practical opportunities, on an in-depth level, in one area of specialization.
