Minors

The J.T. & Margaret Talkington College of Visual & Performing Arts (TCVPA) minors expand students' viewpoints of developing technologies in digital arts, as well as sound practices in the visual and performing arts. Through minors, students have several pathways to include the arts within their major.

A TCVPA minor elevates student's abilities in performance, storytelling, entrepreneurship, music, visual arts, photography, collaborative arts, and more. Students examine, through these mediums, how art contributes to societal change.

A minor includes a set of required and elective courses, and some require auditions. By the first semester of their junior year, students should declare a minor to allow for adequate time to complete requirements.
