Stage & Screen Studies Minor

The minor in Stage and Screen Studies allows students the opportunity to study the history, theory, and criticism of theatre and media. This minor embraces the fact that the world of performance is shifting and traditional barriers between “stage” and “screen” are more porous than ever and acknowledges that those barriers are unlikely to return to their previous strength. Courses in this minor address the ways in which theatre and media have, and continue to, productively overlap in addition to courses that offer a sustained focus on theatre or a sustained focus on media.
