Jewelry Design & Metalsmithing Minor

The Studio Art Jewelry Design and Metalsmithing minor provides the opportunity for students to explore jewelry making processes such as casting, soldering, stone setting, enameling, lapidary, spray etching on metal and many others. Students can also access Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and rapid prototyping technology. The minor also broadens their creative process, and visual thinking through problem solving. This minor will provide both the time and professional guidance needed for skill development and the transformation of artistic visions into reality.
