graduate travel funds Request

The School of Art, College of Visual and Performing Arts, and Graduate School maintain separate, but connected, travel funding programs for graduate students. Students should follow these procedures to solicit funding. 

  1. All travel requests begin in the department. Students should not begin a request for travel by soliciting the College of Visual and Performing Arts or the Graduate School Directly. The first step is to complete this form: School of Art Graduate Travel Application Form.
  2. If eligible, representatives from the School of Art will then assist students in applying to the Graduate School for matching funding. Note that some activities that are eligible for funding from the School of Art but are not eligible for funding from the Graduate School. Please do not submit funding requests directly to the Graduate School without approval from an Associate Director.   3. After either (1) a determination that travel is not eligible for Graduate School funding, or (2) a confirmation of funding from the Graduate School, students may then continue to the College of Visual and Performing Arts application.
