Your Advisor

The School of Art undergraduate advisor is here to assist you with your degree plan, keep you on track as you move through the program, and answer your questions about university resources. All undergraduate students in the School of Art must meet with the advisor each semester before registering for classes. We also encourage you to meet on a regular basis to help you make decisions about reaching your educational goals at Texas Tech.

Please make an appointment at least 24 hours in advance

 

Degree Plans and Class Schedules

Degree plans and course checklists for art majors will be found in the information for each undergraduate area in the School of Art. You can also use tools such as Schedule Builder to create your class schedule, and Degree Works to check your progress through the courses in your degree plan. To access these tools, go to registration.texastech.edu or log into your account on Raiderlink. 

Minors

The School of Art also offers minors/areas of concentration in art history, ceramics, drawing, jewelry design & metalsmithing, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, and transmedia. The requirements for course selection and number of semester credit hours varies per area. If you have questions about a possible minor in the School of Art, please make an appointment.
