• Student Absence Policy
  • Students who miss three or fewer class days should discuss their absences with the instructor. The instructor has the discretion of excusing class absences. Please refer to your syllabi for details.
  • Absences longer than three consecutive class meetings may submit an Extended Absence Verification Request. Please note you must have supporting documentation for these requests (doctor’s note, for example).
    • *All absences, even those with doctor’s notes, are excused at the instructor’s discretion*
  • Students with a chronic illness should contact Student Disability Services for possible classroom accommodations.
