WiSE Ph.D. students attend NREL software workshop
The WiSE Ph.D. program was well represented at a recent National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) workshop recently. Three WiSE Ph.D. students, Anant Jain, Rachit Mathur, and Everett Perry, all attended this workshop focused on computer-aided engineering (CAE) software tools which included FAST, AeroDyn, and Hydrodyn (with a primary emphasis on FAST - Fatigue, Aerodynamics, Structures and Turbulence).
This was an opportunity for WiSE students to network with NREL and other academic and industry professionals from around the world.
There were only 50 registrations available (worldwide), and WiSE had three students in attendance. Good job!
