Dr. Stephen Devadoss

Dr. Stephen Devadoss is Emabeth Thompson Endowed Professor in risk management. He received his PhD in Economics from Iowa State University. Dr. Devadoss conducts research in crop insurance, international trade, industrial organizations, econometrics, natural resource, and environmental economics. His teaching expertise includes international trade, microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, dynamic optimization, and industrial organization.  Dr. Devadoss is a 2010 WAEA Fellow and has received 14 research awards (including outstanding journal articles), 17 teaching awards, (including AAEA Graduate and AAEA Undergraduate Teaching Awards), and 21 graduate advising awards. He has published 120 refereed journal articles.  He has also helped his graduate students to publish more than 70 journal articles and receive 50 awards (including 10 AAEA Outstanding Dissertation and AAEA &WAEA Outstanding M.S. Thesis awards).
