Marty Middleton's teaching assignments include spreadsheet data analysis, economic principles, economic spreadsheet modelling, database development and application, and agricultural finance.  Marty coordinates the undergraduate programs in agricultural and applied economics and agribusiness where he advises and mentors undergraduate students on matters relating to course selection, degree program choice, and employment and internship opportunities.  He performs research in production and natural resource economics.  Marty's teaching objectives are to help students understand and appreciate the value of economic theory in everyday application and to enhance the general problem solving ability of students while providing tools for conceptual and empirical economic analysis.
