Dr. Rahman has been a member of TTU faculty since 2009. He earned his B.S. degree in Economics from Dhaka University, M.S. degree in Agricultural and Applied Economics from The University of Georgia, and Ph.D. degree in Agricultural and Resource Economics from University of Maryland, College Park. He teaches Introduction to Agricultural Economics (AAEC 2305), Agricultural Price Theory (AAEC 3315), and Commodities Futures and Options (AAEC 4317/5317). Rahman's research interests include environmental economics, energy economics, development economics, and organization of agricultural supply chain.
