Whitney Tran
Biography
Whitney Tran is a NURP student and Ph.D candidate in her third year of Texas Tech University's chemical engineering Ph.D program. She joined TTU as an undergraduate student in August 2018 and joined Marston Lab a month later where she acted as an undergraduate researcher. For the next four years Whitney assisted in needle-free injector research studying fluid, skin, and device properties to optimize drug delivery. She presented After graduating in May 2022, Whitney was offered a graduate research assistant position by Dr. Jeremy Marston to be the graduate student researcher on a ONR funded grant. Since starting in June 2022, Whitney has mentored 3 undergraduate students and has held the additional role of lab safety captain while working on conducting experiments mimicking pollutant-laden raindrops impacting the sea-air interface.Research Interests
