By the end of the course sequence, students will be able to:

• Start up, steady, and shut down a real process unit
• Operate valves, pumps, exchangers, and reboilers safely and correctly
• Diagnose process issues during abnormal operation
• Apply simulations to predict system behavior
• Understand glycol-based natural gas dehydration
• Work as a team in an industrial-style shift environment

Before Your First Day in the Plant

Students must complete:

Required safety training modules

• Pre-lab quizzes
• PPE and clothing requirements
• Review of provided manuals and simulations
