Each year during Homecoming Week, Texas Tech University holds the Techsan Memorial to remember members of the Red Raider community who have passed away during the previous memorial year. Students, faculty and staff are recognized individually during the ceremony, while alumni are remembered collectively with a moment of silence. Members of the university community are encouraged to submit information about an eligible individual who should be considered for inclusion in the Techsan Memorial.
Before You Submit
Please provide as much information as you have available. You do not need to know every detail before submitting a notification.
The form may ask for information such as:
- Name of the person being remembered
- Their relationship to Texas Tech
- Date of death, if known
- College, department or university affiliation, if known
- Graduation year or degree information for alumni, if known
- Your contact information in case additional information is needed
Submitting a notification allows Texas Tech to review the information for appropriate memorial recognition. Submission does not guarantee inclusion in a particular year's ceremony.
