The Office of the Dean of Students helps Texas Tech students navigate challenges that may affect their academic experience, wellbeing or ability to stay connected with the university. Whether you need help for yourself, are concerned about another student or are unsure where to start, the Dean of Students can help connect you with the appropriate support and resources.
The office also coordinates Students of Concern, provides guidance for faculty and staff, supports student reporting processes and helps students understand university policies and available resources.

If you are worried about a student because of academic difficulties, mental health, medical concerns or other signs of distress, Students of Concern can help connect that student with support.

About the Dean of Students
The Office of the Dean of Students serves as a central point of support for Texas Tech students facing challenges that affect their university experience. The office works with students individually, coordinates referrals to campus and community resources and partners with faculty, staff and university offices to help students navigate difficult circumstances.
The Dean of Students also coordinates Students of Concern and the Behavioral Intervention Team and supports several student reporting and assistance processes available through Raider Report.
