My name is Ashton Ray and I graduated from Texas Tech University in May 2010 with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies. My experience prior to the CDRC includes working in abuse prevention and family education as well as advising for college students here at Tech. I was hired in 2015 in the infant classroom here at the CDRC and loved it! I spent some time living abroad in the UK with my family for my husband’s job. I was so fortunate when we moved back to Lubbock to be welcomed back to the CDRC with open arms in 2019. My favorite thing about this job is seeing students connect what they learn in textbooks and lecture and being able to see those things happen with the children in the classroom. I so look forward to the new relationships with the children, families, and students in the coming years!
