Teams migration for conference and courtesy phones March 29, 2025

Shared phone numbers and associated shared accounts will be migrated to Microsoft Teams starting at 9:00 AM CDT on Saturday, March 29, 2025, as part of the previously announced migration of all TTU phone service from Skype for Business.
Supported IP phones associated with these accounts will be automatically upgraded to Teams if online during the migration or when subsequently connected to TTUnet. IP phones cannot be used for phone calls or emergency calls during the upgrade process, which lasts up to one hour. Unfortunately, we cannot provide an exact time when phone numbers will be migrated.
The phone upgrade process is complete when it displays Teams sign-in information. You must then sign in to each IP phone with the credentials for the shared account before placing or receiving phone calls. Unsupported IP phones will be signed out of Skype for Business when the associated shared account is moved and will no longer function. If you are replacing an unsupported IP phone or installing a new IP phone, you may want to install it before leaving on Friday, March 28, so it is ready for sign-in when you return. Please go to https://askit.ttu.edu/UCSharedPhone to confirm or reschedule migration of your shared accounts. If no response is received by Wednesday, March 26, 2025, your shared accounts will be migrated as outlined above.
