The Texas Tech Quail team regularly participates in outreach and education, bringing awareness of our ecosystem and its inhabitants to classrooms and events across the region.

Our signature event is Quailapalooza: a hands-on range science experience focusing on the conservation of bobwhite quail. At Quailapalooza, children have the opportunity to see live bobwhite quail, learn about their habitat, and see how scientists study this important rangeland inhabitant.
