Abilene Heritage Square: An Inside Look
Built in 1923, the building located at 1699 South 1st Street in Abilene was once known as Abilene High School. It later became Lincoln Middle School. Now, nearly 100 years after its construction, the historic building will become Abilene Heritage Square, a multipurpose center for learning, discovering, and building community. Bill Minter, an Abilene Heritage Square board member, will give participants a look at what is going on behind the scenes and what this beautiful building will hold for Abilene's future.
