To make sure everything goes the best it possibly can, here are some things to do prior to attending your Red Raider Orientation Advising and Registration Session: 

Online Modules

• Individual modules inlcude some videos and some light reading
• Will take around 60-90 minutes to complete
• Must be completed prior to your scheduled RRO for your Orientation hold to be resolved.

Prepare for Registration

• Check for registration holds and resolve them
• Ensure TSI compliance 
• Complete Admitted Student Tasklist items
• Take any necessary Placement Exams

Opening Session

• Also in the Student Union Building
• All should attend

College & Major Advising

• Following the Opening Session
• Attend the welcome and advising sessions for your degree-granting major college, not the PPHC Welcome.

• Times and locations will vary (check your schedule and email for more information)

Pre-Health Information Session

• During the afternoons of Day 1 at first year sessions only
• Student Union Building, Senate Room
• Find out all you need to know about being pre-health in a degree-granting major and make sure you're ready to go for advising and registration on Day 2!

Registration

• Times and locations will vary (check your schedule and email for more information)
• Attend the registration assistance provided by your degree-granting major, not PPHC registration sessions.

Individual Drop-In Pre-Health Advising

• Following registration with your degree-granting major
• 1:00-5:00 p.m. (central)
• 147 Drane Hall
• PPHC Advisors will be available for drop-in advising
• As needed

• Raider Welcome is a week of FUN and FREE events designed to welcome new and returning students to the Texas Tech campus. Raider Welcome starts with Residence Hall move-in and continues throughout the first week of classes.
