Online Modules

• Individual modules include some videos and some light reading
• Will take around 60-90 minutes to complete
• Must be completed prior to your scheduled RRO for your Orientation hold to be resolved.

Prepare for Registration

• Check for other registration holds and resolve them
• Ensure TSI compliance 
• Complete Admitted Student Tasklist items
• Take any necessary Placement Exams

An example schedule for Red Raider Orientation is available for first year students HERE, and transfer students HERE. Below are some highlights and clarifications for pre-health interested students who have not yet declared a degree-granting major:

Check-In

• Student Union Building
• All must attend
• Pick up all your Red Raider Orientation items and officially check in for your orientation session.
• Stop by the PPHC table to talk with PPHC Advisors and sort out how to make the most of RRO!

Opening Session

• Also in the Student Union Building
• All should attend

PPHC Welcome

• Following the Opening Session
• Still in the Student Union Building
• All students in pre-health designations must attend
• Get started with how to be successful as a pre-health student at Texas Tech!

Advising & Registration

• Group and Individual Advising and Registration Sessions will follow the PPHC Welcome according to your first year or transfer RRO schedules
• All students in pre-health designations must attend
• Location varies based on first year or transfer session
• PPHC advisors will be available to help with course planning and registration questions

• Raider Welcome is a week of FUN and FREE events designed to welcome new and returning students to the Texas Tech campus. Raider Welcome starts with Residence Hall move-in and continues throughout the first week of classes.
