About
The Learning Center is committed to empowering Red Raiders to become confident, independent learners. Academic success is about more than earning good grades; it's about developing the skills, strategies, and confidence to learn for a lifetime.
Through peer-led and collaborative learning experiences, we create an environment where students are encouraged to ask questions, challenge themselves, and actively engage in the learning process. Every interaction is designed to help students strengthen their understanding of course material while building the habits that support long-term academic success.
Our services, including Peer Tutoring and Supplemental Instruction (SI), are grounded in the belief that students often learn best from one another. By connecting students with trained peer educators who have successfully navigated the same courses, we foster meaningful learning experiences that encourage collaboration, critical thinking, and academic confidence.
Whether you're preparing for your first exam, working through a difficult concept, or looking to strengthen your study strategies, the Learning Center is here to support you throughout your Texas Tech journey.
