Choose the Right Career Field
Choosing what you want to do after college can be frightening, but it doesn't have to be. Texas Tech offers many different services that can help determine what interests you the most and get the correct degree that will fit the best.
Visit the University Career Center! The Career Center has many options to help guide you in choosing a career field that interest you the best.
All sophomores should take the Strong Interest Inventory. This test is free and can be taken online, and our professionally trained career counselors discuss the results with each student. For students that have yet to declare a major are ambivalent about future career options, this is a great resource.
The Career Center also provides resume workshops, career fairs, major fairs, internship opportunities, and much more!
