Establish a LiDAR-based system to categorize driver behavior in real time utilizing trajectory characteristics (speed, acceleration, jerk, headway) with LSTM/Transformer models. Extract high-resolution surrogate safety metrics (TTC, PET, DRAC) using LiDAR trajectories and confirm them with crash data for proactive safety evaluation. Calibrate VISSIM with trajectory-level LiDAR data by optimizing Wiedemann parameters via inverse modeling to enhance simulation accuracy.
