CASURA's mission is to promote integration, collaboration, and partnserhips across College of Arts & Sciences departments and Texas Tech research centers (e.g. CISER, TrUE), supported by a Multidicsiplinary Research Certificate that helps students pursue their academic and professional goals.

AHA SURE Program

Explore the AHA SURE Summer Research Program (June 1–July 31, 2026) at Texas Tech University— a paid, 9-week research experience with faculty mentoring, a final symposium, and the chance to attend the national AHA Scientific Sessions conference.

The Lochbaum Lab

Explore the Lochbaum Lab, led by Dr. Marc Lochbaum, Professor of Sport Psychology at Texas Tech University. The lab focuses on sport motivation, performance, and mental health through systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and collaborative projects with undergraduate researchers.
