Where Knowledge Inspires Action: The Nobel Impact Presentations
To celebrate Phi Beta Kappas 250th anniversary, the Lambda of Texas chapter, in collaboration with TrUE and the Phi Beta Kappa Association, invites undergraduates to show how Nobel-winning ideas shape the world. Six students, one for each of the Chemistry, Economic Sciences, Literature, Medicine, Peace, and Physics prizes, will give three-minute presentations on the impact and importance of a 2026 laureate's work. Their application materials will also help assemble posters celebrating each of the 2026 awards.
The session is part of the lunch program on Saturday, November 14, at noon, right before the Symposium finals. It is free and open to the Texas Tech community and the public, and presenters receive an award.
