User Responsibilities (every use)

 

Clean oil from objectives with lens paper

 

Turn off light sources: brightfield, mercury lamp Clean up surrounding areas

Copy data files/sign out in log book

 

Facility Responsibilities (monthly)

 

Computer

Update computer software

Scan computer for viruses and malware

Delete data >4 weeks old as needed to free up hard drive space Move newer data off desktop to G:\labname or C:\data\labname

 

Scope

Check/replenish lens paper Check/replenish immersion oil

Check all objectives for oil, clean as needed

Clean 60x and 100x objectives with microfiber swab and Opti-clear.
