Web-Based Electroencephalographic Analysis for Epilepsy Diagnosis

Electroencephalographic (EEG) is one of the important tests to diagnose epilepsy. This study develops a computerized tool for the diagnosis of epilepsy based on the interpretation of EEG data, such as basic frequencies of different regions (posterior, central and anterior) of the brain and the patient's normal and abnormal phenomena. It enables physicians to generate a computerized EEG report consistent with the recommended guidelines of the American EEG Society, and allows different levels of access and data input through the Internet.
