Christian Enevoldsen started at the Techniques Center in the Fall of 2016 as an Academic Counselor. Christian graduated from Texas Tech University in December 2014 with a B.A. in Multidisciplinary Studies with his teacher certification and then received his M.A. in Counseling at Wayland Baptist University in February of 2017. Christian is very excited to be working at Texas Tech serving his fellow Red Raiders. He enjoys Tech Football and exploring West Texas and beyond with his wife, daughter, and their two dogs.

Academic Counseling Philosophy
I have enjoyed being able to become apart of my student's team to help them identify hazards on the road to their individual goals. I'm a firm believer in helping guide and lead, but letting my students grow in their decision making processes that will help to make them even more confident and valuable members of the communities they are a part of. Checking students' perceptions against the real world evidence helps to keep focused on the tasks at hand, while continuing to refine the processes that they use to grow, both in and outside of the classroom.
