Intercultural Education & Engagement
Welcome to Intercultural Education & Engagement (IEE)! We are part of Campus Access & Engagement, an office created to further enhance Texas Techs efforts around student success. IEE provides student-centered programs, services and education for all Texas Tech students, including first-generation students and underserved populations, through social, informative and holistic resources and initiatives. Our team works closely with students to strengthen retention efforts by allowing them to build community and peer-to-peer mentorship as well as networking opportunities with both campus and community figures.
Our Mission
Intercultural Education & Engagement takes a student-centered approach to explore and affirm shared humanity through intentional coalition building, holistic resources, scholarly activities and consistent campus outreach to educate our student body, faculty and staff. Our goal is to foster a sense of community at Texas Tech University.
Our Vision
Intercultural Education & Engagement aims to empower and educate global scholars who will use their individual lived experiences to serve as change makers in the Texas Tech community and beyond. We hope the experiences and education students, faculty and staff get through IEE will create change and awareness on a global scale.
