Shannon Sears has been with the Center for Biotechnology and Genomics since February 2019. She helps in the office for the Center with everything from purchasing, HR, and finance to publicity, editing, and graphic design. Shannon is originally from Arkansas but has traveled extensively, having lived in Canada and Austria as well as all around the United States. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, has a bachelor's degree in Anthropology and Gender Studies from the University of Arkansas, and in 2012, she graduated with a master's degree in Anthropology from Concordia University. Shannon is also a photographer, and she brings more than a decade of high-level administrative, marketing, and creative expertise to the Center.
