Career Closet

The Career Closet is located inside the University Career Center in 150 Wiggins Complex.  It is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.  We accept walk-ins; however, you may schedule an appointment through Hire Red Raiders or by calling our office at 806-742-2210.

The Career Closet is open to current students in need of business professional outfits for upcoming interviews, career fairs, networking events and other professional development opportunities.  This is a FREE service.

Students may select up to five (5) items per semester.  For example, a suit is counted as two items: pants and a jacket.  Adding a shirt, belt, and tie would complete a basic outfit, totaling five items. Our service is based solely on donations from the community, so we cannot guarantee all styles and sizes will be available.

Items accepted include: Suits, sport coats, slacks, skirts, blouses, shirts, closed-toe dress shoes, scarves and ties.

Current Career Closet Needs: 
Women's Clothing Needs: All sizes of blazers, skirts, dresses, and accessories 
Men's Clothing Needs: All sizes of men's suits, pants, shirts, ties, belts, and shoes  

All clothing needs to be current, clean, free of tears and stains, and size clearly marked. 

Items not accepted: nonprofessional clothing- athleisure attire, pajamas, undergarments, and damaged items

The University Career Center is located on the south side of the Wiggins Complex in the same building as Housing, Hospitality, and Ol' Reds.  Our address is 3211 18th Street (150 Wiggins Complex).
