Where is University Career Center located?
We are located on the southeast corner of the Wiggins Complex. Wiggins is located West of the Chitwood Weymouth dorms and East of the Law School. You can view the campus map. Select Career Services, University to locate Wiggins.
Do students have to schedule an appointment to utilize UCC services?
Yes, students must call our office to schedule an appointment with a career counselor in order to use our services. Our office number is (806) 742-2210.
Can a UCC professional make a presentation to my class or student organization about career development?
Yes, the UCC staff is available for presentations. To learn more, view our Presentation Request page. **In response to the COVID-19 Pandemic, all UCC presentations will be virtual unless requested otherwise. Requests for in-person presentations will be considered on a case-by-case basis.**
My students are required to provide proof of participating in a mock interview. Is a review of the student's performance provided?
Any of our staff can provide a written critique through our standardized rubric. Please note that not all students who use our services are required to have a written review of their critique, so please inform your students to let us know they need the rubric.
