- Description: This webinar is presented by the Texas Tech University Career Center and intended for Texas Tech students and alumni. The College to Career Internship Program is a paid, experiential learning initiative designed to support students transition from college to the professional workforce. The program promotes career exploration, provides meaningful hands-on experience, and helps students build professional networks with leaders in the Lubbock community. Internships are 180 hours, with students working up to 20 hours per week and earning $15 per hour, helping to offset educational expenses while pursuing academic goals. Students are matched with vetted Lubbock-area employers, where supervisors serve as mentors, and all internship placements are reviewed and approved by University Career Center Program Coordinators to ensure quality, relevance, and professional development.
