Faculty, staff, and campus partners, join us on Wednesday, November 18, 2026, in the Escondido Theater to learn how to support student career development. The three sessions will include an overview of outcome data for the graduating class of 2025, strategies to incorporate career readiness into the classroom, and best practices for academic advisors, faculty, and student-facing staff in supporting career conversations with students. 

Supporting Career Development in Academic Advising

Description: Join the University Career Center to help celebrate your students' success and build your toolbox for career conversations. This presentation will include insights from outcome data from the graduating class of 2025 as well as practical steps to support your communication with students. This session is in partnership with the Office of Advising Excellence.

First Destination Data: Graduating Class of 2025

Intended for administrators, academic advisors, and faculty within academic colleges

Description: This session will provide an overview on outcome data and first-destination data on the Texas Tech graduating class of 2025.

Embedding Career Readiness in the Classroom

Intended for faculty and instructors
Time: 4:00 PM
Description: This session will review strategies to embed career readiness into the classroom. Attendees will also be equipped with toolkits to support student career development.
