What to Expect

What is the Career Studio for?

The Career Studio is a drop-in service offered at the University Career Center. We have a space available for you to come in, work on your resume or other job search materials, and get answers to quick career questions while you’re working. If the person you are working with determines you need additional support, we may recommend scheduling a follow-up appointment with a Career Center staff member.

What do I need to bring?

Plan to bring your own technology. Electricity will be available to plug in chargers. We will not have laptops or desktop computers available.

Do I need to register?

No registration is required. Seats are first-come, first-served.

Do I have to stay the whole time?

You are welcome to stay and work on career-related goals during your time in the Career Studio for a few minutes or the full two hours.

I am required to go to the Career Center for a class assignment. Can I get my assignment completed at the Career Studio?

The Career Studio could be used for document review assignments. If you are coming in for a mock interview and require a rubric, it would be best to schedule an appointment.
