Abigail Ulman (they/she) is a climate and public health professional with seven years of experience in program management, stakeholder engagement, and research in the climate adaptation, health equity, and environmental justice fields. They are currently a Senior Research Fellow at Texas Tech University and at Rutgers University, where they conduct research to support local capacity-building for disaster resilience, equitable housing recovery, and extreme heat planning. 

Previously, Abigail was a Program Director at Red Duke Strategies, where they led the development and implementation of a climate and health strategy for the Department of Veterans Affairs. Prior to joining Red Duke, they held various roles advancing climate action and health equity at the local, national, and international levels, including at the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine and in the Peace Corps in Senegal. Abigail holds an MPH in environmental health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a BS in environmental policy from Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service.
